Has anybody else been getting an error saying that FFXIV could not detect a directx device? I've already tried reinstalling both directx and my video card drivers and still get the error.

why in the hell do testers from this site keep asking here? and not in the beta forums?
make sure your DX is fully updated, along with your video card driver, if it still does not work after that, report it as a bug in the hardware feedback forums, along with your hardware configuration.-------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are tons of threads about hardware problems, if the OP is really in beta, its not hard to go over to the forums and look for their problem, and even then, I answered the question as well in my post, so this threads existence is no longer needed.-------------------------------------------------------------------------

/shrugs. There are some pretty smart tech savvy people on this forum, I'd rather ask here than on a beta forum. Hell, you should have seen the Alpha forums for the past couple of WoW expansions. Yes I know there is and all the same jack offs that have access to the rest of the forums also have access to thar section so I wouldn't bother taking the chance.
