    /cry

I'll still be getting all the versions. I do like to play FFXI on my PS3 and big screen, so it'll be that much nicer to do the same w/ FFXIV, and I still want to get my buddy to play, and my sis still wants to try it out too. So yeah, just not as nice a set up as I originally hoped. ^^'

I'm buying the PS3 version to be able to play it on my ps3 as well, and then use that account to try and get my buddy to play......as well as any special items ps3 owners may get. >.<'

Ok, from what I'm understanding, you are buying all the different versions so you can get the free in game items for your character, right? Well I hate to be Debbie Downer but it says that you have to register the item code before creating your character to get that item on that character. So if you make a character with the PC CE, play early, and get the Onion Helm, you won't be able to put the goggles or any other bonus item from the PS3 release on that character. Now if you're going to make multiple characters then it should be fine.

I had originally thought that since I had nothing useful to add to the thread that I would unsubscribe, but the amount of lulz to be had is purely side-splitting.

I can't believe it; Feba was right.. I AM an elitist. Time to see if I can OC my GPU and get to 5500 on the bench.

So Ummm... Who is gonna buy the CE version for the PS3 for the items?

I am buying it to play it and for the items. Even though I doubt my pc can run it. Anyone have the Benchmark linked anywhere?

Ever blow air into a balloon and then let go of it? Ya it would pretty much do that....and sound like that too.

Crafting is probably one of the 1st things I'm going to do. I'm not getting left in the dust this time, especially with how they've designed guildleve. I'm hoping I won't have to have a dedicated crafting character though as it'd be nice to be able to maintain my own equipment whilst out in the field.

But if needed I will, because I want to max the crafts this time around instead of scrounging for every penny like I did in XI.

I'm not going to help you with this one, as what I said was self-explanatory.

Just think about it realistically rather than reading it literally. Play the potential scenario out in your head.
