Too brownish looking, though. Like on the palette it looks as though it'd be purple but when you show the actual hair it looks kind of just like it's a brown color.

That sounds like a challenge.

Also I can guarantee there will be duplicates if for no other reason than all the RMT will be taking the default settings.

I worry about how many hours I'll spend in character creation before starting, to be honest. Seems like ever since Aion came out both FFXIV and DCUO decided to make character just as robust, if not more, than Aion did.

No, she did the options for a Hume (ya ya or whatever they renamed it).

Damn lol. I'm with BBQ here, if I do decide to play (probably will try it if I can afford a computer that will run it) it will probably be a damn long time fixing up my character. I really was happy with Aks from the get-go in XI, but with so many more options this time around I may not like if I'm too hasty.

What I would love, however, is if they had a barbershop or something like they do in WoW. That way if you decide you hate your hair, you can change it.

*Sad face* No green.... I want to have a weird color for hair as well, not just regular weather. Would love to have other options for hair color.

Maybe the hair colours will change depending on what race you choose? Ex. Lalafell only being able to choose green, purple, hot magenta, mango tango, asparagus, etc?

Yeah I am sure hair color, (like skin color does) changes depending on race and tribe.

I think "default" settings are always random. Each time you go to character creation you get a number of presets, from my understanding they are randomly created for you and everyone else, which is nice... a good way to avoid what you suggested.
