Rumor has it, just like in previous situations, that when a large chunk of stuff gets released on Famitsu they will do a major update on their website (also the accidental posting of some images on the European site hints towards this).

I wouldn't mind seeing some cleaner scans of all that, though. Even the scans on Kotaku and D-Toid today were the same blurry ones.

2) Ziero, the story line is we have technology that both sides want? If that is the case, then a three way battle triangle sounds interesting. They should open of the other two sides to PCs also. They could also make army specific weapons which only one side will have. I see a lot of potential with this new game.

Not technology, land. The Garleans are some sort of secretive super advanced militaristic society and the other aggressor is some sort of savage Beastman like race of barbarians. Both of them want the land our races settled into so the only way to stave off both sides is for the (currently) five races to band together to fight off all invaders.

1) I have to admit I am surpised by the level of detail you can add to your avatar to make it more unique.

There is a boob slider. Boobs and hips. As well as choosing from at least 7 different colors for your undies. Eorzepedia is baselessly speculating, other people have at least translated some of the text. Things like scars, tattoos, bandages and stuff will also be customizable.

Eorzeapedia are speculating because they're waiting for Elmer to translate it, rather than go the route of FFXIVCore and put a bunch of interpretation and speculation into their translations.

And again with the "too much skin" arguement? Sex sells, get over it.

At first glance I thought the 4th shot was a bewb slider XD

But alas no, the article @ Eorzepedia says it's about the clothing.

There is a boob slider. Boobs and hips. As well as choosing from at least 7 different colors for your undies. Eorzepedia is baselessly speculating, other people have at least translated some of the text. Things like scars, tattoos, bandages and stuff will also be customizable.

There's also blurbs about how we, the players, will be caught up in a war between some sort of "Barbarous" Beastmen army and the Garlean army mentioned before. So it's not just an "us vs them" situation like in FFXI, but a "everyone wants our stuff" type of conflict.

I'm just impressed that SE managed to make clothing skimpier than FFXI Mithra default without just putting everyone in bikinis.

They're really not skimpy at all, it's just like the FFXI hume shorts with a higher slit up the thighs. But then again, we still have yet to see the Mithra and Elvaan undies, chances are the Mithra will have a barely-there outfit to maintain their more feral stylings.

We know the in-game models won't be CG quality. but if they are at least virtually equal to the placeholder models displayed
in character creation, then the in-game models will definitely look much better than the difference between FFXI's
CG, character creation model, and in-game version of the model.

what you see in the pics, and what you have seen in SS, are what hey look like ingame, its not like FFXI where the character creation modals where better then the ingame
