Teleport-Altep Quest Help! =(

:confused: I'm trying to do the Teleport-Altep quest because i need it to teleport party members to Eastern Altepa Desert when lvling in Quicksand Caves. I read how to do the quest on allazham.com and its says you need Lvl 4 fame in Sandy. Took me a while but i finally got Fame lvl 4, making sure to go to the fame checker in sandy. I go to Rabao and what happens?? He dosent give me the quest all he said is "I'm from the Chapel of sandy blah blah blah...". I went to do 6 more quests thinking that would help but did it... no =/. I was deperate for this quest so i did another 12 quests and do i get the quest now??? No! Can someone tell me if i'm missing something. I was thinking maybe you need fame from somewhere else too but Rabao is under Sandy.... Plz Help :sweat:

You just need a lot more Sandy fame. All there is too it. Sorry it's not something easier.

Do that repeatable quest in Selbina a lot, the old geezer with the sheep (I believe the cheapest item he asks for is cabbages).

Load up on the (clean inventory and just fill it with them), and head over there. It took me 50 stacks for 2 levels of fame I think, lossing me something like 1k per fame level or so.

I did this till I had max fame. This also ups your Bastok fame if you still need that by the way.

That's how I did it too, the repeatable quest in Selbina.
Stock up on cabbages, (I did it with moss, from killing Goobs in Pashhow lol) and just go to him and trade them.
Instant fame.

Now, finding the key item is another matter lol, but I'm sure you can do it.

Yep, the Selbina quest can rocket your fame up.

I used moss myself, and it worked wonderfuly. Bought 10 stacks of it, and traded it to the man one by one. Now I've got great fame everywhere except windy.

I even made about 2k on the quest, since I stumbled across my stacks of moss at what must have been a really good time at the auction house. (Bought each stack for 6800, Man in Selbina gives you a total of 7200 back for each stack).

I had a similar problem, but i had me HP in San D anyways, and just trained lots and lotsa bunnies ...that, and i had recentely farmed tigers, and had the fangs with me, heh =P

The hardest part was finding that damn ???..tablet thingy ><

Yes, just repeat the sheep food quest for the old man in Selbina, since its fame is linked with the city that's linked to Rabao (I'm still not convinced that Rabao's linked city is San d'Oria, though, because I received the Teleport Altepa quest when my Sandy fame was still fairly low...had max Bastok fame at the time, though, and coincidentally enough, Rabao was maxed out, too...it also makes sense storywise that Rabao should be linked to Bastok...but that's all beside the point).

Anyway, I'd actually recommend that you use moss instead of corn or cabbages...it costs more, yes, but it increases your fame so much faster, as you only have to give the guy one moss per quest completion, whereas it takes 3 for corn, and 5 for cabbages.
