Spew. I just checked the price on Bismarck; 2mil+ :dead: I know lvl 70 is a long ways away, but thats still crazy. I'm hoping to propose to my LS to maybe help me raise the money, seeing as we always PT together and if they tossed a few 100k my way that would help immensley. Then again, maybe I should start saving now

Over 2million on Asura, crawling towards 3 million no doubt.
Unless you are engaging in dynamis runs or hnm stuff alot where people are dying often, you don't really need raiseIII. Do the BCNM with friends/ls and just get it that way.
I sure dont sit around waiting to form an xp party because the only whm seeking at the moment doesn't have raiseIII.
3 Mithra are better than 1...

Last time I checked, Raise III on Ragnarok was 1,000,000 Gil. I give out and call in a lot of Raise III's to and from friends and I'm sure all the people jacking the price on the Auction House do the latter too. I guess you can't really blame them as everyone wants maximum profits from their BC runs and the chance of being refused a Raise III because you jacked the price is pretty unlikely. I do like the idea of compiling a list of the people pushing up the price for Raise III and then refusing them it though, the reaction would be priceless. I have a White Mage in my Ninja's set party and I sure as hell will be helping him to buy it come 70 because he's the only one not benefiting from it.
Just to give the price hiking some justification, the only reason that Raise III reached such a low price is because you used to be able to force it to drop in BC's. I bought mine around this time for 27k but I also paid 410k for Raise II when it only dropped off Yagudo High Priest so it kinda balances out. Raise III is only going back to what it should rightfully be. I have done over fifty Kindred Seal BC's and ten or so Kirin's but have yet to see it drop.【MNK 75 - WAR 75 - NIN 75 - BRD 75 - WHM 75】

It's about 3mill+ on Seraph, going up by 500ks it seems. Though, if you ask me this spell should be considered an end game item (like nobles, osode etc.) considering how rare the drop has gotten.
I was given this spell from one of our kirin runs, though I regret it, since I only get on my WHM job to R3 dead members when they ask~~~.
As for not inviting WHMs for the reason they don't have R3, I personally like them around for cure5. Though people can be that way, I guess. =/

In reply to Russta, it is however a bit unfair to make a spell this rare which the buyer doesn't profit from at all... I can see why people don't want to spend that much on it.BRD75/WHM75/BLM75/RDM75/SMN70/NIN67/MNK33/WAR33/THF15/etc

Greedy Rich Person: Haha! Let's jack up the price of Raise III so I can get even more money!!
Poor White Mage: Awww Raise III is sooooo expensive, I'll never be able to afford this.
Greedy Rich Person: Aaaaaah! The King Behemoth just raped me! Death becomes me. ; ;
Poor White Mage: Oh look a dead person, I wonder if he'd like a Raise.
Greedy Rich Person: WHAT?! You only have Raise II?!?? What is wrong with you?!
Poor White Mage: Raise III is just too expensive, I'm sorry.
And in the end look who gets screwed.

Here is a happy story for R3 and will hopefully give other WHMs hope in obtaining it. The price for R3 on Midgard is now 4mil. I rounded up some of my best friends in game that I could trust and went and did the Kindred BCNM30 E-vase-ive. I heard the drop rate is horrible but we had many seals that everyone was donating to give it multiple tries. I used my orb first and this is what I got...

WOOT!!!! After the scroll dropped to me I did this…

and then this…

So, not only did I get my scroll I also got to use it! ^^ The fight was easier than I had anticiapted. If you have friends that are willing to do this for you and let you keep the scroll, I say go for it. Much better then shelling out 4+mil. Goodluck!

On my server the market's been flooded somewhat, the price has dropped to 1.8mil and settled there. However there are currently nine scrolls for sale, five of which have been on sale for at least three days now. So I'm betting (and praying) that the price will drop because those scrolls simply aren't shifting as fast as people want them to at their current price.
If they drop to around 1.4mil then I'll be able to buy it ... pray, pray, pray ....
Still going to do the BC with my LS though just in case.

You know if we dont get the spells, maybe they wont jack it so high because of the AH fees? Maybe its just wishful thinking though =/

If it doesn't sell then they'll eventually try selling at a lower price. The new AH tax sees that it costs a bit to sell something for 2mil. But how are you going to convince every WHM that's approaching 70 to hold out? Especially those that can afford it?

That is of course the obvious answer. However if you hit level 70 and want to carry on EXPing then you will probably buy it anyway as to not tarnish your reputation, or possibly switch to another job.Originally posted by lionx

They only need to buy it once, and once you use it, bam no refund. Theres only going to be SO many WHMs with that kind of money willing to spend it on a scroll. Unless ppl band their money together to get WHMs the spell then i would think that way.Originally posted by Feenicks

As for reaching lvl 70 i know i am a ways off, but honestly if you arent interested that much in HNMing, i think R2 can last til 75 right? If not i can always lvl another job which is fine for me. Or i can static my way up there.
