This is all imo, but I belive it looks you are trying a little too hard for a group putting all that stuff there, or you have that stuff for the only reason to like you are uberly equipped, but you really have no idea what to do when you are out there. Over the last few months, I havent leveled much at all. Ive been testing different things out, the nice little simple search comment, always seems to get me into 3k+ an hour group, putting all my "uber" equip in there, seems to get me invites by noob DRKs wanting to grab the "uber" WHM and start a pt...

My goal is to be so blinged that people would be like "(my char) is lfp invite xxx go!" I even have a mule who's name is along the lines of Erasefund >>

But Pillow thats a scary thought, the better gear/spells leading to worse invites

I noticed the exact same phenomenon when I was one of the first NA BLM's to get staves (and, presumably, one of the first to advertise as well). When I searched with a comment that only included my exp/exp needed, language preference (Japanese/English OK^^), and home point (if I was outside of jeuno), I got invites MORE frequently than when I had the following:
exp needed/exp total <Apple Pie +1>
<Ice Staff>/<Dark Staff> = O
<Sleepga II> = O <Japanese>/NA ok^^

I got even more invites when I had absolutely no intention of leveling, did not have my comment filled with anything, and didn't have the majority of my exping gear on me. Murphy's law, I guess.
