Raise II

I'm just the right lvl to be able to use Raise II, but I'm wondering if it's really worth the 200k that it goes for on my server -_- If any fellow whm's can tell me i would really apreatiate it.

Well I am not level 60 but I would get it, getting more exp back is always good . I think you should get it makes good uses in parties too.

That really sucks, 200k. It's only 5k on Ifrit.

I bought this spell beforeI reached level 56. Raise II is very important in not losing 2000+ exp when your party members die. I'd say even at 200k, get it ASAP.

Or, I remember reading a journal about an alliance going to get the spell from an NM in Castle Oztroja. Yagudo High Priest i believe. Good luck

Although, if you think about it.... Raise II doesn't help the WHM in any way... Its not like we can cast it on ourselves =) Reraise II.. is another question =)

Contrary to what you think, it helps you a lot. It's important not to be known as "the white mage that doesn't have Raise 2". Personal reputation matters.

Past level 70, whm suddenly starts to get a lot more party invites. Why? Mainly because of Cure V, Stona and Raise 3. Raise 3 is very appealing when dying means you lose 4500 exp.

4500 exp + Raise = 3175 exp lost. Yuck. (that's about an hour's worth of work gone considering nothing gives you 200 exp at level 73+)
4500 exp + Raise 2 = 1325 exp lost. Not that bad. 15 minutes.
4500 exp + Raise 3 = 450 exp lost. Peanuts. 5 minutes.

People consider this when they invite you. If you don't have it, then why should they? For this reason I always put a huge "Erase X" disclaimer in my search comment (and still get invites anyway, since Erase is horribly useless in exp parties)

Now try that with "Raise 2 X" and I doubt many people would be happy. It's like RDM without Refresh.

I don't see how WHM wouldn't get party invites anyways. Sure, I understand summoners and RDM's, or other mage combos being able to do the job, but if theres a WHM available, it doesn't make sense not to take them. Perhaps you could explain what you meant.

No, but if there are more White Mages than parties, there's a problem.

I paid 370k for it. (By the way, ouch Sylvanas. That's a lot for it.) Still, it is worth the money. Only problem is getting that much.

My friend whm is 60 now. He bought RaiseII fro 24k and ReraiseII for 49k. Not that bad.

I though post 61 exp loss were patched and now its loss is fixed 2400... maybe I am wrong. This is what I have been told from lvl 74pld friend (JP).
