What weapon should i be most concerned about training?

It seems like my time in melee combat will start to diminish pretty soon, especially because i am a taru whm....but i have been training club and staff so far in my newbie life, which should i focus on and why?

Focus on 1-handed club. That's the white mage's preferred weapon type. Those white-mage focused hammers, maces, and mauls will help you a lot.
