I'm not really good with writing macros. So i was wondering if somebody could help me out and tell me what commands to use to make a provoke macro. Thanks in advance.

/ja "Provoke" <t>
Im not sure but id bet that if you did a search you could find a macro making guide somewhere on these boards. Would probably make your life a lot easier

Mine looks like this:
/ja "Provoke" <t>
/p (Provoke) <t>. TP at <tp>
/wait 15
/p (Provoke) in 15 seconds! TP at <tp>
/wait 15
/echo Provoke ready!
Gets the job done, but I'm sure others have ones that are different (and probably better). Make sure to auto-translate the word "Provoke" in the /p messages.

/party (Provoke) <t> <call1>
/ja "Provoke" <t>
/wait 15
/party (Provoke) in 15
/wait 15
/party (Provoke) Ready!
This is mine, it works and people don't seem to mind it at all.
I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

I don't like the initial Provoke message because I never know when the times is up, and I usually spamm the macro.Mobile 2400+ @11.5x200MHz, 1.7v| NF7-S 2.0 | 2x512 Corsair pc3200

I have two different macros
/ja Provoke <bt>
/wait 1
/attack <bt>
^ that I use when the puller is bringing in the mob so I can easily target it and attack it.
/ja Provoke <t>
^ That's what I use for links, since <bt> would provoke the mob my party is fighting, NOT the link.
Using which ever during the fight doesn't really matter at all.JohNNYOriginally posted by Luminaire

/ja "Provoke" <t>
/p 'Voking <t>.
/wait 20
/p 'Voke ready in 10
/wait 10
/tell provokeready
It does the following:
Provokes the target
Tells the party that I am provoking the monster
Waits 20 seconds
Tells my party that provoke will be up in 10 seconds
Waits 10 seconds
And tells me that provoke is up
My boost macro is much alike,
/ja "Boost" <me>
/wait 16 (if it's 15, it doesn't go off half the time
/ja "Boost <me>
/wait 15
/tell boostready
Which does the following:
Boosts
Boosts again
Tells me when boost is ready
Now, why don't I juse have 3 boosts? Because then I'd probably miss a couple because I wouldn't know which was the third if I'm not paying close attention.
I have a different way of doing it, /tell-ing whateverIwantTOhear. This notifies me and not the rest of my party.

I use /echo rather than /party. Got sick of all the chat spam.
The way I see it, the party macro is better at lower levels when you might have a couple of people sharing tanking, certainly you have a lot more aggro bouncing around. Once I got past 30 or so, I just didn't see the need for a macro visible to anyone but myself. It's not like the party doesn't know that I'm going to be provoking every 30 seconds, right? :pNusayb, Galka, Fairy Server- 63WAR,

I just leave it as
/ja "Provoke" <t>
and spam the macro after a little bit. All the messages about it being ready or will be ready in x secs, jes annoy me, and most of the time others. I also see no real need for this, as no1 needs to be aware you are Provoking, since that's 3/4 of a WARs life anyway, it's expected. If they doubt your Voke skills, they can check the chat log. Jes my opinion though ^^.
