War's and Farming

I've come to a bit of a cross road as I had planned on going Ninja/War but just can't maintain the cost at this point so I've recognized that I need a higher lvl Job to finance it... I like War when I originally lvled it for Adv. Jobs... But I wanted to tank and had been told that if you wanted to tank you either had to go PLD or Ninja for a long term tanking career. I tried out PLD but found Galka's lack of Mp depressing even with +mp items Elvaan's the second lowest mp race still had alot more mana then I did and the -hps I got from +mp items removed my HP advantage so I though the better choice for tank for a Galka was Ninja only to discover how much it costs ... So I've come back to War and have considered lvling it again as I figure I've got my subs covered in Thf (damage) and Ninja (Tank) and I may lvl Mnk up to 30 if advisable. Once I get to 60 I'll prob. lvl Sam till 74 when Ninja will come back in... ok now to the point though as I still desire to one day lvl Ninja to high lvl what sub to War's use for farming? Do you still use /thf and just eat the long /heal downtime? or Do you sacrifice TH for whm for less downtime?

My suggestion would be farm extremely low stuff with /thf or just use another job to farm cash.

Personnaly i farm using drk/thf, blm/thf or whm/thf. Blm/thf is good for tier1 beastmen trains, drk/thf is for more powerfull foe, like tier3 gobs and stuff in passhow. Whm/thf is more for lizard farming in dunes with banishga and staff AE ws.

All these 3 class are now lvl 33 for me btw.

I don't farm with my war personnaly, but i use war/whm if i'm going to solo some stuff like banshees in qufim or fishing in qufim.

Personally I don't mind the downtime...then again it is just me. I currently use a WAR/THF and I find it very effective. I love my WAR/THF since I can get rid of low level monsters easy and steal and get money at the same time. My favorite thing to do is just get rid of everything in Ghelsba and Yhotto Ghrotto, time consuming yes, fun...can be, when you bring friends Every moe fun
