What's a good way to make money? I'm really not getting as much from auction items now. I mean I need a lot more, too. I really want chain mail so I can take some more hits, but it looks to be around 16,000... what sort of monsters give the best items?

if you want my opinion just get out there and kill like crazy try and gofor the smaller things about 4-5 levels lower than you so you can actually kill it then keep fighting until your inventory is full and then go to a shop and sell this has worked wonders for me i make at least 30,000 gil a week and you can also try synth and stuff like that

You can attempt to camp some easy Notorious Monsters. Like Leaping Lizzy, Tom Tit Tat, Bubbly Bernie, etc.

The rare drops will sell decent, if you find lizzy and get her to drop the shoes. You should be set for a while.

Gustaberg I believe. She spawns in Bastok's surrounding area. Too far for me to run to being in Windurst. When I become higher level. Maybe i'll try to get over there and get those boots!

Leaping Lizzy is a NM that is level 10-11, mostly around level 10. She spawns at E-8 to F-8 in S. Gustaberg, at the Fumaroles.

A good trick to bring her out faster is to kill all Lizards in the surroundings and she spawn prolly near you. Good luck with the drop though, I heard her drop is rare...

Does she drop if she's too weak? I'm l25. She's 10-11.

No. A lot of High-Level players camp her because of those drop. But her drop of leaping Boots is very rare and don't be surprise if she doesn't drop it the first 5 tries...
