ok im a 14war about to be 15...i have a question about weapon skills tho, my sword skill is always capped within 500xp of when i lvl, and thats the only wep i have on me all the time but im wondering did i make a mistake here? my Gaxe skill is 0, my axe skill is 0, my Gsword skill is 5, and my scythe skill is 21. im wondering should i take time off xping and get some of my important wep skills higher? keep in mind tho im gonna be a drk at 30 so i dont need any long term wep skills only ones that will get me to 30.

If you're going Drk then level your scythe and GS, don't worry about the other ones.

It REALLY doesn't matter since you want to be a DRK but it wouldn't hurt bringing it up .

I would suggest you drop your sword and just use Gsword and Scythe. If you are gonna bw a drk those are the most important and keepin track with two weapons can be a hassle.

Drk can use great axe too and from my weapon analysis, great axe is probably a good choice dmg/utility wise for drk from 25 to 49.

From 1-25 scythe and great sword are probably the best since great axe lacks a good dmg ws, shiled break is good, but acc is usually pretty good at that level.

25-49 Shield break will now make a decent difference for all melee dmg dealers and sturmwind is probably the hardest hitting ws till mnk raging fist and drg penta, great axe is a good weapon for those level. I would keep my great sword skilled up so you can start a distorsion sc with powerslash. 1 of the groups i hated the most was blm, rdm, whm, me(tanking war), thf and scythe only drk. I can use a polearm but thf and me had trouble scing DT -> Viper together.

49-60 Scythe become the no1 weapon since vorpal scythe can start a distorsion sc and the 2 scythes drk gets from 49-60 are both very good weapons : barbarian scythe +25att, -5acc and vassago +5 acc and -5%hp. Also the lvl 49 great axe got a -4int, not very usefull for a drk.

naw it's useful, INT doesn't effect dark magic =p
