Don't mean to jump off topic. . . . . but did anyone have problems against those crabs in Boyhada Tree? My VB is doing like 300-400 damage . . . . . . it's like . . . . REALLY bad and not right. I mean my THF's equipment is pretty decent, I don't see why this is happening.

I dont recall having too much problems there, then again I was staticing with a RNG(pre-patch) and we usually always picked up a BLM. BLMs were big on freeze MB'ing the skillchain back then, so it generally made fights pretty painless. I'd say just try to keep the crab dispelled with acid bolts, get TP as quick as possible to SC for the BLM. Don't worry about your damage too much. Crabs suck ;/

I'm going through a semi crisis myself, walking around with 50/60 slots taken by gear alone, trying to determine which two daggers I want to choose for maximum endgame potential, I don't even use /war anymore because it's hard enough choosing 2 daggers let alone narrowing it down to just 1. (/sarcasm)

Basically, I'm trying to determine which would be the best out of
Blau Dolch
Sirocco Kukri
Heart Snatcher
Martial Knife
Stylet

And the list goes on.. and on.. and on.. we have *too* many options (/sarcasm)
They need to give THF the "Too many *#@& Daggers" ability, that allows you to change weapons on the fly w/o losing TP (/sarcasm)

Blau Dolch + Sirocco imo. Then again depending on the mob/ws id use Martial Like with DE, use Bloch, SB use Martial but only if you wont get 300 TP.

Pick it depending on mob, like Tokitoki says. If you're getting TP too slow I think Sirocco would be very nice(150 DLY) on XPable mobs. Otherwise stick with Blau Dolch or Martial Knife. For HNMs, I'm still trying to figure out what works best. Right now I'm leaning toward just using the highest D daggers available -- Harpe or P. Harpe(or Mandau) are your best options there. It's not like we get TP with 60 secs anyways on Gods/HNMs, so delay isnt much of a factor. Usually I rely on sneak/trick(separately) to get TP, and any random hits>0 that I may happen to get. Therefore, I would think highest D would rule all, but I still need to get some of these rarer daggers to test.

As far as gods go, I use my Harpe for the first hit with 300TP sicne the TP Bonus from Martial Knife is negated, then after that i switch to martial for the TP bonus since SB has an atk mod for higher TP. It seems to do pretty well.

I was thinking accuracy was the way to go until I realized, what's the point of getting accuracy so high when I can't do damage past 0 to get TP back?
