  • TH Question

does a thf have to end kill a mob, to trigger their TH? or just attack the mob at least once for TH to kick in (and end killing mob dont matter)?

im confused about that part...can anyone tell me? lol

    thx..

You just need to have the monster engaged (locked on and weapon out) for TH to be active. Last hit and all that don't do anything to help or hinder.

Nobody knows. Including dragonhope. I think the "last hit" theory is crap, though.
      You know I'm right.

        Th

If you're on the mobs hatelist (missing one attack, hitting with a ranged attack, healing someone engaged to the mob etc etc) you affect the droptable, and if you have TH, that will be counted in.

What most people miss about TH tho is that it only increases the % chance of ANYTHING to drop. you can still end up with nothing, you just get a lower % chance of doing so.

        Hope it helps.

I'm not completely sure but i'm around 90% positive this works. Just having a THF in the party for sure doesn't do didly squat. I actually farmed before (Rams are the best way to test TH IMO) using purely ranged weapons to kill (meaning not engaged). I would usually get was 2-3 drops from the ram (And i've killed them 100s of times) when I didn't have it engaged. But when i'm fighting them head on (engaged), even if I finish the battle with a ranged weapon, I would get 4-6 most of the time. So i'm quite sure thats how it works.
