thief af2 question.....?????

Hello, I am having trouble with the af2 stuff. I am lvl 52.
I have the knife.(that was very easy). Now I don't know what the heck to do now. I have talked to Nanaa Mihgo got quest, talked to a goblin in lower jeuno got quest, and i have talked to a galka in upper jeuno and got a quest.

What the heck do i do now? I tried to follow allakhzam quest guide but it has me all mixed up. I go to Sauromugue Champaign and try touch all the ??? on every tower and no goblin spawn.

What am I doing wrong? is this hat not what i am supposed to get yet (it's a lvl 54 hat)??? But i have to talk to Nanaa Mihgo first so shouldn't i be doing that quest first? Is anyone else not confused about what to do?

This thief artifact is really confusing. There is no way I can understand how to do this according to allakhazam. Please help.

Ok, first you mixed two AF parts.

the galkan in upper is for the hand AF, buy a stack of skeletonkeys, sub whm and head to davoi, go there in the Monastic Cavern. In the area of the Warchiefs and stuff (it cons about VT to IT) look for a coffer. open the coffer and get the keyitem old gruntlets or so. go to upper talk again with the galkan and then head to port and look for a black box in the AH region. he tells you then to get something fom castle balys (sp?) there you have to fight dark spark to get the keyitem, then talk back with the black box to get your AF. For Dark Spark a normal party is enough, just kill him quick and touch the ??? again to get the keyitem!

It seems that this STUPID gobo is spawning at the tower where you only reach going trough the cita -.-
Tryed to spwan it twice on all the other tower, in cluding zoning.

Take the selbina clay quest and
Windy Quest about a broken vase or so with you,
since you're going trough the cita.

Oh, i think i see now. The hat is AF3? and the gloves are AF2? But don't I still have to talk to Nanaa first brfore i can talk to galka? Or can you just go to the gulka first and do that quest then go see nanaa?

It seems to me that FFXI has the quests mixed up. You have to start AF3 before you can even start AF2. Thanks for the info ^^. I really want to understand these thef AF quest so i can prevent some other parties running around for 3+ hours touching the towers. It's a bit fustrating.

Actually the boots are AF3, afaik.
