  • The pros and cons of a Dagger/Sword combo?

Heya folks, I'm an aspiring Thf/nin and I've been thinking of switching from dual daggers to a dagger/sword combo. I've seen a few scimatars/falchions that seem to complement thfs nicely but I'm not sure if it's worth the speed drop and accuracy loss.

    Any advice?
Nothing to see here people, let's keep the line moving >.>

I had a mithran scimitar (+3 dex) in my off-hand until I got my AF dagger. Haven't touched swords since.

Meh, its not that bad. I used a sword in my offhand up to level 46, I think. The combat caster's scimitar at 40 was pretty badass, iirc.

Yes, your sword skill will be about 15 points lower than dagger. Yes that will decrease your overall accuracy, yes you will gain TP a bit slower. However, it really isn't that huge of a deal. If you are waiting on a trick partner, odds are you'll still beat him to 100TP if you pimp out your acc and dex gear.

If you want a big honkin' sword in your offhand then put one there.
        You know I'm right.
