How to skill up Dagger?

Well, not something I'm overly worried about for now, since my thf is only level 18, but I'm wondering how I would skill up dagger up until 33, when I could use it fulltime? I've decided not to level up the ninja sub so that I can use it in offhand, because I've already sold Utsusemi, and don't want to buy it again just to level the sub of a sub.

Considering that I'm planning on doing thf/mnk in Yuhtunga/Yhoator (so like...to level 31/32 or so), both my sword and my dagger skills are likely to fall way behind. Land worms in Korroloka / Qufim can skill me up to the mid-20s cap (around 25 korroloka, 28 or so in Qufim, I think). After that, however, will I just have to accept doing gimped damage for the amount of time it takes to cap skill each level?

Just wondering if there are any tips/tricks for doing this.

You join a NA party and pretend to be someone who doesn't know sword is better =>_<=

Yes, what a good freakin call. If I join a party and I see the slightest sign of noobness, I whip out the dagger. I figure if they don't care about getting good xp, then I might as well just treat it as a skill up party. 50-100 xp per kill? The glass is half full, it's dagger time

On my thf I have noticed that my dagger has a higher attack than my sword because of the higher skill cap. So I lvl both weapons just to be good at them but once sword is capped I use dagger all the time. Plus I get more dmg from it and mine also gives poison.

Whenever I gain a lvl I switch to dagger and lvl it (usually only takes 3 or 4 mobs tops). I let them know why im switching so they dont get pissed, then just switch back to sword once dagger is lvl'd. I'm definately still a newb so I might be mistaken on this but I feel THF's are mainly there for SA pre-30 and i cant really tell a difference using SA b/w dagger and sword besides the SA+WS sort of thing.
