woohoo, done with the yungles for a while, now its off to Gairlage Citadel and Eastern Altepa Desert, what can a steal from what mobs in those two places?

you "can" steal Spider Web off any spider, if you happen to be fighting one. The spiders in East Altepa are probbaly like 1/1000 to sucessfully steal one, but i have seen it done.

**Spider webs are like 8k on AH

I sense a trend here.

Generally, monsters you fight for experience have either nothing to steal (like mandragoras) or junk like rock salt, bone chips, fish scales, etc.

The only valuable steals for a long time are various types of coins off of beastmen.

ok, so im getting it that Steal isnt the best ability and that stuff gtes much better once you get mug

reg silver gold and one mithral beast coin and i got a few fishing poles from the gobs in windy a bamboo rod and a clothpole or whatever.. not bad for like a lvl 5 gob

ya, i still cant get anything better than silver beastcoins, i hope with the next update they add more things that THFs can steal...

Haha, nope. Again, generally common exp. monsters won't be muggable, beastmen will give you ~50-100 gil, and the only good mugs are some NMs that can give ~1500+.

Mythril (~1500gil) and gold (~6-7000gil) coins are good steals from higher level beastmen.

Ok, So I guess the best thing I steal won't get any better until I'm a higher level. In this case I'll probably stop stealing more a while. Well who else think that they should make an update and make the steal list bigger?

While playing my tarutaru thief, best thing I have stolen was my thief testimony while helping my set pt get buedex coffer key. Stole it off of 3rd tier qudav.
