notice a change in coffers?

What is a good reccomended level for opening coffers, and chests.
I am only level 35 right now, i went into Guesen Mines to open my RSE Chests, i opened the first one sucessfully and then opened a second and third one while wearing a piece of RSE, but the chests were trapped. would wearing a piece of my Rse have anything to do with it or was it just bad luck, and this was before the patch/update btw.

yup, picked a zvahl coffer w/ thf tool, i'm gonna try to pick a coffer in ifrit for my nin af w/ it as well...wish me luck!

Only Thief Main can pick coffers. Therefore you wont find Ninja AF armor in Ifrits cauldron if you use your thief to open the coffer with a tool.

Well I did pick the coffer in Ifrits (AF4/Hands) and also picked the coffer in Kuftal for my NIN AF3 AND fought Dark Spark w/ my main

Here's the thing...It needs to be a quested AF piece since all you seek is a key item.

I didn't attempt to pick the lock in boyahda or grotto since you get the AF piece straight away

If you doubt it, try it yourself. I did my 5/6 NIN AF in 2 days (would be less but i was exping and helping friends)
