When do mobs get stealable items back?

Currently i'm a 61 thf and since I have all my AF with +stealing, I was planning on farming gold coins.

The method I was going to do this, was go to some place that has some form of beastman which has gold and is near a zone, and then flee+steal.

Now, I know this can be really bad, mainly if anyone else is around, but I keep that in mind and definetly won't do this if it can harm others (I mainly would do it at around 5 AM jp time since it's mainly jp that would be in the places I would go).

But other than that, my question is, if you steal a coin, when does the mob get another one?

I am currently thinking, it either gets another coin after it's killed, or after a certain amount of time passes (which I think is pretty long, maybe 2 hours).

If anyone has any insite, could you please post it and say why you think/ how you know it.

Also, does anyone have a better idea for farming gold? A better strategy or a good location? Currently, davoi seems to be the easiest place for me to get to that has the beastman.

I am pretty certain there is no such thing as "get another coin". I think they basically have infinite supply.

For instance I have been in a group with another thief and we would both steal from the same mob while fighting and both get an item. I think all that matters is that your steal check passes.

Unless anyone can say otherwise I am pretty certain this is how it works.
