  • Is ANY Thief AF worth wearing?

I'm just wondering because other than farming beastcoins or increased flee time, I don't think I'll ever be wearing any AF pieces.

Helm: Who needs int? Emporer Hairpin
Body: Str? Brigandine is already better at level 45
Hands: This one I guess. 3 dex vs 2 dex (Elvaan RSE)
Legs: Another maybe. 4 agi vs 2 dex / 2 agi (RSE again). Same thing?
Feet: Not bad, but lacking the agi from leaping boots

So basically I'm wondering if it's worth it to EVER put these on for a party... kind of disappointing if not since they look so cool

equipment is situational.. thief af is very good for making gil.. as it is believed that int aid's steal, and many other items also offer + to steal... i noted equipment i would wear circa lvl50-60~ in thread posted just below this one, only useless piece as i see it is body.. rest has use.. link is provided - please read thread, thankyou

    --edit--

    perhaps i should expand..

.. i think the armguards are much better than elvaan rse..

    you cannot compare - Def+6 MP+24 DEX+2 INT+1
    with - Def 15, HP +10, DEX +3, Ice resist +10, Steal +1

with the legs.. this may be possible to debate upon.. 2dex+2agi vs +4agi... but looking at all other stats to go with.. i would say artifact without much of a pause..

    rse - Def+12 HP+12 MP+12 DEX+2 AGI+2
    af - Lv 56, Def 32, HP +15, AGI +4, Sheild skill +10, Steal+1

as far as i think.. the boots are the jewel of the thief af...

    - Lv 60, Def 13, HP +12, DEX +3, Ice resist +10, Flee+1, Steal +2

    - i can understand lack of +3 agi, so i would certainly be torn between af and winged boots, however.. they are such a beautiful item, that one cannot call them to be useless

aside from gil farming and other soloing circumstances, post 60 thf's usually only wear AF arm and legs.

for head and foot, it's obvious what they wear. and for body, Black Cotehardie from lvl 59, and Blue Cotehardie from lvl 69. for those thf's whose budget is very limited, Aketon from lvl 60, and War Aketon from 70.
