Treasure hunter as sub than as main

Is TH as effective as subjob as it is when theif is main? Also does sneak attack help with steal? I seem to steal more sucesfully after doing sneak attack and going behind, though only tried a few time and mayjust just fluke.

TH is a job trait, like Martial Art and stuffs, as long as you have it, subbed or main won't matter, as for steal... I did heard that stealing from behind would be better than infront.

I heard this from a friend of mine, but having Thief as your sub job will reduce SA's damage by 75%. I don't know how much truth there is to that statement though.

I dunno about 75%, but it is weaker.

And I'm pretty sure SA does not make your steal rate better.

SA does not effect steal. SA is weaker by about 70% when subbed.
