LvL 15-20 NM for gill! help

Helloo about 400 exp ish from my Treasure Hunter 1... i was wondering what nm i can hunt (and handle as a mirtha thf) that drops a item that sells for 10k+ (perferable 20k+ but i'm not picky gill is gill) i was thinking about orchis wallbreacher and barricader but i heard there heavely camped and like lvl 20+... any tip's? i'm capable of traveling to windhurst-sandoria-bastok any idea's? thanks in advance.

p.s. can you please tell me where would be the best place to sell the item the nm drops, where it would sell the quickest.

It is possibly the most overcamped NM in the game (I've tried camping it a billion times).

I haven't play FFXI as much because of the need of money. I need upwards of 130k for my level 30 equipment as a THF. Then powders for my NIN, and the thing is, most reliable money sources for other classes own THFs (jugner tigers for example, and these are easy prey to me at level 30). Very annoying, but I hear bee chips are good...so I will try that.

So all in all, don't use NMs as your money source, while it might be a big bang for the hours you spent camping it is unlikely you'll ever see it.

if a lvl 15 thf can get rich quick like your description, then everyon eon the server is rich. I would say a good 70-80% of the server has at least a lvl 15 thf. At lvl 15, you won't see 20k unless you either have a higher lvl job, or you bumped into lizzy. If it was really that easy to get 20k as a lvl 15 thf, then hell, none of us should be complaining about money.

ouch... i'm willing to spend days trying to get a nm that drops a item that sells for alot.. but ouch... i guess i'll just stick to crawlers...

Argus is a NM for lvl's 36-37. It is found in Shakhrami Maze at J-9 9 (the lil dead end circle on the map). It aggro's u by sound and drops a

Their was no info on it dropping 1 million gill... how muhc is a peackcock Charm and darkness crystal worth?

Argus is a lvl 37 hectaeyes mobs in shakrami maze ,

drops peacock charm which sells for about 4-5million in jeuno most of the time (at least in my server)

On my server Barricader/Wallbreacher isn't camped that much. Didn't real help me get the Strike Baghnaks/Lantern Shield though.....

Earning 20k by level 15 is entirely possible if you figure out how to use the AH and farm stacks. I remember I had 60k around 18-19. But that was before I started trying to buy the best equipment I could for my thief.

Doing pretty good for lvl 30 but I still need some equipment to take me to that "next level."

MC Doublet
Mithran Scimitar
Nomad's Mantle
Amethyst Ring
2 Beetle Earrings +1
Long Boomerang for level 33 (best 3k I've spent for +2 AGI =)

Need:
RSE Hume/M Gloves
MC Belt
Leaping Boots
Emperor Hairpin
Upgrade my rings to Balance Rings

The boots and the hairpin are the biggest thorns, but fortunately my LS is finally starting to want to camp them. I just don't have the endurance for trying to get lizzy all by myself and at my level there's no way I could even think of taking on the emperor.

So in the meantime I'll probably acquire the MC Visor, RSE boots and just hope for the best.

Now back to the real topic at hand ... any NM that would earn a decent return is just about always camped by much higher leveled people with /RNG. So if you want to hunt lizzy ... or any NM that you can handle, wrangle togethe some friends and camp. It'll go by faster and you'll increase your shot at getting the NM.
