Best sub for a Taru Taru thief for grouping?

I was just wondering what would work out well, i figured that taru's have a ton of dex and agi already so i was thinking maybe a war? If someone experienced could tell me all of the good options i would appreciate it, thnx.

subjob (in my opinion ) is not determined by race, but main job..

so two realistic jobs present themselves; warrior or ninja.. there are many threads documenting pro's and cons of each and most are fairly recent

also samurai is a possibility.. but i see little use for it as subjob ^^

.. tarutaru, as i believe; is not loaded with much dex and agility already.. mithra is only race which has much dex and agi to spare^^..

i would seek a subjob that adds skills you desire, rather than statictic boost.. you will find that in the end, subjob stat boost is not a huge difference between warrior/ninja ^^

mnk subjob is fairly useful as well. you can't really go wrong with thf/war or thf/mnk until you unlock ninja.

I agree with Sinfox, partially. I definitely think have more abilites and versatility is certainly a good thing however, I believe that a subjob chosen for stat boosts is a good thing as well. The way I see it choosing a subjob to boost your stats is simply increasing the effectivness of your main job. I've noticed a substantial increase in my Dex, Agi, and even my INT by playing ninja sub over warrior sub. Dual wield has also been nice to have, as it has allowed me to equip more than one stat enhancing or creature debuffing weapon. In the end, I believe that ninja is the better sub for a thief. I've had very good experiences with this combination as a taru.
