i would choose these over scentless armlets for a few of reasons.. firstly, you shouldn't really be taking hits in the first place.. secondly.. accuracy is invaluable when added to your already 'dexy' (that's not a typo ) mithra.. and thirdly.. your evasion bonus is almost the same as the armlets anyways ^^

alternativly.. you could go for +1 agi from merc captain.. but i'd still go for the battle gloves
I was considering mrc.cpt. since I think i remember reading that agility helps Trick Attack. I mostly have kept the Scentless around since I got it as a quest reward and at the time the extra +evasion seemed useful (I soloed more between 1 and 20 than anyone should have to as a THF ). But you make a good point, I haven't really thought about accuracy too much since I'm usually hitting much more than anyone else in my parties anyway. It wouldn't hurt to be more accurate though and the difference of 2 evasion isn't such a big deal. :3

.. and for the feet.. leaping boots.. i don't consider any other boots to be their equal at that level.. (with perhaps the exception of the strider boots)
Already working on that, I'm thinking about getting Winged Boots instead since I'm already lv 30 and they cost about the same on Odin.

well.. agi does help trick attack.. at 33 you can buy a long boomerang +2 agi.. and at 35 you can aquire 2 drone earrings - +6 agi (+3 agi per earring).. if you have some other suggested items which other people have mentioned here, at level 35.. you can have an agi of +13.. perhaps higher

fuidama damage is nice.. however.. at the moment.. +1 agi is not enough to sway me from the additional accuracy.. as i am only level 37 ^^

and a small amount of evasion does not hurt also

winged boots look very very nice ... nice because you can then hunt leaping lizzy to sell leaping boots while still having +3 dex and +3 agi.. i would like to aquire them very much^^ ..

Sub a ninja and use Blink ninjitsu and you won't have to worry that much about evasion. :D

Don't forget for legs you can wear Bastokan Subligars.

          +3 attack, +3 accuracy.

And if you really have money, go for the Bastokan Subligars+1, which adds +5 instead of +3 ^_^

Hmm... I sold my Merc. Capt. Kukri and bought 2 Archers Daggers.
The Archers daggers each have +1 AGI, but the Merc. Capt. Kukri has 13DMG instead of Archers 11DMG. Was this a good idea? 2 more DMG isn't that big is it?
                Can't wait for Marauder's Knife!

                      I have to buy all my level 30-40 equip. And it was going to be pretty easy, I still had to pay up to 120k but now I have to pay more because Bastok lost first -_-;;

Gonna farm black tiger fangs I am.

is a mithra scimitar (+3) worth it at lvl 36? i know the requirement is a lot lower, but i now have the opportunity to buy it.... either that or i start the long road to getting my leaping boots.

                        suggestions?

yay! windy's first.. got my merc capt belt!

Mithran Scmitar is nice. I would buy it if I have the money.
It's expensive and rare too. I've only seen one for sale at the AH whenever I check for it. Last sale was around 40K gil.
I bought a Strider Sword instead for about 4K gil. It has +3 AGI so it's still nice. Now my DEX and AGI boosts are even. :D

                            - mithran scimitar - 19 damage, delay 228, dex +3

very good weapon up to 33.. (friend loaned me one untill i was ready for viper).. but dagger is required for viperbite at 33.. i would recommend windurstian or federation kukri.. only reason i can see for scimitar is to boost stats in ninja's off-hand..

                            .. but consider this

                            - marauders knife - 15 damage, delay 190 dex +2 agi +2

level 40 thief artifact dagger, very easy to obtain... nice, no?..

yeah, right now use dual wield.

i use a merc capt kukri and switch with a windurstian kukri when im in non-windy controlled areas.

in my right, i use a strider sword or a centurion sword, and am buying a mithran scimitar (40k) when my auctions sells to replace the strider sword.
