I hate these kind of questions as much as the next guy, but in the great scheme of things, do Hume's make formidable thieves? Or will I regret not going Mithra or something by lvl 60?

No subjob lvl 70 mithra has 78 Dex vs 66 Dex Hume
Thats base, like most games and mmo's though focus on leveling, its easy to say, when I'm 70, etc. but think about the road to 70.
Are you completely familar with the game? If so then the stats, etc that a mithra might have may not be a big advantage if you know how to get stat increasing gear.
I don't know much about the game so I went mithra to use the base stats while I learned about the game and imporant gear, etc.
In short, if you know the game and can get gear, or play well then the Hume might not make a huge difference, etc. -
Hume does great as THFs.
Stat calculator is worthless by the way. As a Hume I do near 200 damage to skeletons (decents and what to make me look strong) while there are some n00b mithras who use swords against skeles and will do less damage with sneak. If they did know what they were doing then they would do about 10 more damage than me. I don't care though, I have more VIT, HP, and STR, I can survive longer, THFs do dodge a lot, but don't expect that when a bunch of ITs are aurrounding you (ok, so both Hume and Mithra would die, pfft, whatever
)
Oh and you're not going to hit 70 in a week, look at lower stats, like level 15 when dex is more important, sure mithra will have about 2 more dex and do 5 more damage, but I don't care.

Whats it matter what other ppl think if you like your char play whatever. Yes humes make great thfs but mithra is the best so do whatever you want.
