ok we all know pvp is coming out but can us thieves steal??? if so that would be awesome and no one would want to fight us knowing we steal and backstab... mwaohwwhwahowoha(evil laughter)

Would think that stealing is a possibility. Unless they only allow weapon and magic... And true, that would be very bad to loose your stuff...
Isn't PvP only in certain areas?? I think PvP should be in arenas within cities. Not in the World map...

PVP will ben in the form of Nation Vs Nation, this involves many ppl. Sneak attack, can work without a tank if you are not being targeted and are out of the Line of sight of your enemy. If this will work with the PvP is another quesiton. And There is NO way in the world that SE will ever let THF steal from another PC. It would cause too much contraversy. PvP is already a sensible issue, and SE is very careful in there way of going about it.
