EDIT: I agree that SE needs to get off their ass and come through with their promise from fan fest to "encourage summoner's to keep their avatars out in battle."
elemental damage on every melee hit would be a start, but how about increasing your avatar's power based on summoning magic skill and your own primary stats, similar to the Aeons in FFX? At least in 10 they were worth calling out - . -
