I'm trying to activate Blue Ribbon Blues so I can get the Toraimarai Turmoil quest. (I need that bloody af boots) I already did the quest Food for Thought, Overnight Delivery, Water way to Go, and have high windy fame. When I try to talk to Roberta in Nchaa's Good Goods store (the quest starting npc) she doesn't give me a ribbon to trade... I checked allakhazam and didn't find any info that I didn't already try. Does anyone know what to do?

I too am facing that same problem. I have enough fame to get the Avatars and am Rank 6 but she just won't give me the quest.
Perhaps there is a requriement to be in the cloth craft guild maybe as she is inside the Cloth craft shop? Not sure. Would love to know myself ^^

Ahh the power of the might search engine (and allakhazam)
I believe the pre-requisite for this quest is to have done the three previous Rhinostery quests (Food delivery, overnight luggage transpot, and giddeus water pickup

If I recall, you need even higher fame than is required for the Avatar quest. It took me some time to get my fame high enough to activate the ribbon quest.RDM 75, BLM 73, WHM 42, SMN 41, RNG 40, NIN 37, DRK 37, THF 25, WAR 20

I sucessfully got the Purple Ribbon, and the returned Purple Ribbon.
1) I completed the Tahrongi Catctus Quest. Located in Tahrongi Canyon (F-6), right against the edge of the map.
2) Completed the overnight delivery Quest. Windurst Waters, Rhinostery (South entrance, right hand NPC)
3) Zoned. Completed the Giddeus Water quests. (Already had done the Food for Thought quest)
4) Went to Windurst Woods, spoke to the NPC and got the Purple Ribbon. Zoned to Windurst Waters and Rhinostery North entranced, traded to NPC.
5) Zoned, went back. Nothing happens. Went away and came back a few hours later (about 4 hours) and got the purple ribbon back. All set to run into Eldeime Necropolis for some Undead Action.
Not sure what my fame is in Windurst but its pretty high.
