But see, if they introduced avatars with dark/earth etc. then I'd think they would have to spend time thinking and working to make it before the release of the expansion, which is HIGHLY doubtful, a friend of mine went to E3 I believe and they mentioned the addition of Bahumut ^^

Dunno, Bahamut seems logical because in the other games he was the jacked up summon that did non-elemental damage. All the Avatars here are elemental based.
