Ruby Elements

I have been trying to get all of the elements for the Carbuncle Ruby for quite sometime now and it is starting to get very frusterating. I have all the elements (including ice) accept Scorching Heat and Thunder. I am curretnly waiting between Valkrum Dunes and Konchstat Highlands but since I can only be on for a few hours i never seem to be on at the right time and miss the elements. I one day heard there were weather NPC's in towns that could predict the elements for the next while. I was hoping someone could inform me of who the NPC is that would predict the weather for Bastok area or what time I could be on to get these elements. Thank you for your help!

Click on "Tips" at the top. Click on "Weather Checker" on the left to see the names and locations of various weather checkers. It doesn't say which weather checkers tell you about which areas, unfortunately.

While you're there, click on "Weather" on the left (still in the Tips section) to see a list of all the areas that can have weather, and what their two weather effects are. Note that some areas are more likely to have certain weather than others. Ice in Batallia, for example, is ridiculously rare, while earth there is very common.

Btw, you have WHM levelled, so don't be afraid to sneak/invis around in search of weather effects. Altepa's a great place to get fire weather. So's Meriphataud. For lightning, Konschtat works, but Jugner and Zi'Tah very frequently have lightning as well, and Sauromugue has it sometimes.

Hey can you get the elments on a job under level 30? I mean if you already have the ruby and the quest and have some elements already. In otherwords.. I leveled down because my invisible instantly dissapeared for some reason on my way to the ice place.

yea i was think about that to.. i pritty sure.. i mean u got the ruby and already accepted the mission so i dont see why u cant..
