OK about new quest on Avatars

ok first thing...YAY! and also is this how it wouls work?~~~~

Lets say in mhura, to get rumah, u go up and talk to the quest giver do they tele u to it ot do you have to go to the place? cause if you have to go to the plcae that would defeat the whol purpose of it....what i mean, do you still have to go thru the high lvl areas t get to them or do they tele you?

I was very excited to see what they had planned, but from finding out more.. It's still pretty difficult to beat them. :sweat:

I will give it a try no less. But I've alaready started the quest for Shiva normally, and can't seem to get the mini fork thingy anymore :sweat:

You probably have to be lvl20 SMN (as current main job) in order to get the mini-fork/warp from the researcher's freind.

then again my smn isn't even near 20 yet, so I'll still have some work to do. Maybe I'll just get Shiva the old fashioned way, it's not like I'm that far off in lvls. :p

personally, i'm going to get all the summons the old fasion way. i'm not taking summoner passed lvl 1 without every summon (except fenrir), if i even end up playing smn at all. i got every tuning fork for the battles already too. i'm gonna keep playing paladin, maybe to 75, i dunno (first time i saw 5 digits for my tnl almost cried, but i'm used to it now). then i'll consider smn more.

it's going to be funny seeing all these summoners around seeking party with nothing but carbuncle. i swear if i'm leveling a new job and i party with a summoner with only carbuncle, they're gone. from what i'm hearing these battles are pretty tough, so the old way might be better if you have a high lvl character already anyway. from the way it sounds now though, i seriously doubt any inexperienced players who have their highest job at 30 are going to be able to win these fights.

If summoning skill is not capped, maybe. If it is, carby is great at least until 20, which is coincidentally the level you can try to solo the avatars and test your player skill.

FYI, I don't think that having only carbuncle is gimp at all from lv 1 -20. The smn is great healing tank if they sub whm. If you sub blm then I might have a fit. But as it stands, having the other avatars are not worth it much at all pre areial armor. The other primes cost way too much MP to keep out for the amount of MP that you have at those levels. Having the ability to cure and do some damage with carbuncle is way more important than having ifrit try to hit goblins in valkrum for 20 damage.

If you, LordBiGGs, are going to kick all sub 20 smn w/just carbuncle just cause you feel that they will gimp your pt, that's your opinion and frankly I don't agree with you.

But hey, it's a free world and you can do whatever you want.
