this was only at level 35-ish, so i give them a lot of slack for not knowing better, but the kicker is that they don't listen to the advice! sheesh.

This is depressing for every job (I once partied with a Samurai who didn't want to skillchain and a Thief that didn't want to end Distortion with Viper Bite...they wanted to start Detonation with it). Just tough it out and wait. As soon as they get to higher levels, that behaviour gets them kicked outta parties

When I first started I changed to War/whm @ lvl 20, and I used a Great Sword.... >.> I ate apple pies and cured myself, pretty bad >.< LOL Then when I went back to lvling war, I had such a pain lvling Great Axe cause it was 0 T_T LOL!!

I get the same shit in pts too. Sams who don't know how to setup sata in the pt, who won't SC at all, won't even talk about scs at all...It's kind of annoying, and I can understand why some people don't like sams lol

Lol i had one spam goten after using his two hour in delkfutt's tower. I didn't say it in a mean or snide way i just suggested he stick with spamming enpis till at least he gets jinpuu. His reply was "Yeah well i think i would know better since i'm the samurai in the PT." I didn't even bother saying i had a 75 samurai lol.

I don't even bother giving lowbie DRG or PLDs advice. Unless they ask for it. Not gonna sit there and tell someone how to do their job. They can learn on their own. Plus I'm pretty lazy. ; ; /shrug :sweat:

Sometimes it helps though. Some advice off to the side in /t isn't rude at all. I'd be glad for any nin, rng, thf, or sam (high level) to give me advice.

level 25brd PTing in Yutanga. We had 2 rdms in the PT (1 was JP, 1 was NA) I think you can all guess the NA Rdm was playing like warriors, he wants to be a puller and tell everyone else to wait then he would sit after fight till full MP and run out to dia pull -.-

We were killing the uber mandragora so didn't really care at first. but later the PT decided they should try goblins. That's when I tried to tell the NA Rdm to stay behind for ballad.

I agree with you Zandria, friendly advices via /t isn't that bad, I recieved a lot of tips when I was in my 40's, and I also gave tips when I was leveling other jobs in 20's... it seemed to help after all

I think that's mainly due to people thinking that later WSs are always better than older ones, which is somewhat of a reasonable assumption to make if you think about it.

Maybe he was trying to stun a goblin's bomb, and wanted to be certain that it'd stun.

ah the joys of lvling lowbie jobs for subs........ heh..... some people find it insulting if u give advice in /tells, i tried to give some advice to a lowbie sam, and got cussed out, he was spamming meditate, not scing, etc...... i've taken up the stance of, if you dont ask me for advance... im not giving it, and what ever happens in lowbie pt..... happens.....
i'd had enough bad experience with lowbie pt, that i found nices places that i can solo.... it's very easy to solo to lv37 with melee really, specially if you have nin sub lvled, now taking whm to 37 was a blast though, i stole hate just for casting dia..... just need to get blm to 37 and all my subjobs are done....

Well last night I was in a PT with a PLD and he had INT rings? I guess he wanted to become smarter because he needed it. When the fights started he will not cure, I asked him why he said his spells will get interrupted -.-;; He will only use his cures when the PT was over and cure people that where injured ><;;
