Since all 3 last ws are STR based, a nice trait (and original too) would be a STR bonus ( a STR% bonus ^^) This would make sam/thf much more beautiful in damage. And it would mean sam/wars could just use normal str + acc gear

Congrats on the Kabuto. So how did you guys handle the dragons he summons, if they're anything like the set of 4 in beaucedine i doubt you can really fight him strait up and manage Dynamis lord as well.Originally posted by Enichi

had about 40 mins left when we got to dynamis lord..... so we figured it was like the eye where u could kite the dragons away, then kill dl and the dragons will come back.... ended up didnt work that way...... like the eye, the dragons shares hate with dl...... but unlike the eye's dragon... they never moves aways from dl.....
so we wiped..... had 30 mins left.... reraised and went at another go........ used all our blms to aoe like how we killed yin and yang the first time, killed em and then the prob was dynamis lord........ like i said... its ez to dmg him..... hard to survive his attacks..... normal attack will hit for 1k+ aoe does like 700-1k..... then hes got 5 different 2hrs.... we got him to the chainspell stage, and ya.... chainspell ga3 and death isnt fun.... we wiped and time ran out ahahahhaha.... was our first fight with dl... next fight we'll probably win
probably need about 2-4 rdm/drk to do chainspell stun on him..... idk..... we'll get him next time though /nod.
that run was to test out DL pretty much...... we think we got it down now..... just gotta wait til sunday b4 we go at him again. 1st time fight and took him down to 1/2, pretty good i guess for a first try...... now vrtra is another story..... weeeee wipe and wipe and....... more wipe

The samurai job trait Zanshin has been added.
After gaining this job trait, samurais may attack again immediately after missing a target.
The effect of the samurai job ability Third Eye has been adjusted.
Magic, songs, and breath attacks will no longer cancel the effect of Third Eye. Also, the effect will extend to anticipating multiple-attack techniques that target a single opponent.

Zanshin is an interesitng change - unless it pops up as a level 60-70 skill (which I hope not - it would be nice to see this show up earlier on, making SAM both a cool main AND sub job to use) this means that it could be a step towards eliminating the crazy reliance that people have on Sniper's Rings and other super accuracy enhancing gear, in favor of more offensive, strength oriented gear. If the Zanshin effect triggers double attack as well, you have a chance of suddenly firing off a rapid chain of hits (miss, Zanshin triggers, double attack triggers, hit, miss, Zanshin triggers again, another chance for double attack to go off) giving SAM's a huge amount of TP in a short period of time. And if its a low level ability that can be subbed for... well, SAM as a sub would be seen as a staple at high levels where accuracy is apparently an issue, especially for any job that needs rapid TP gain and the ability to land hits.
It should be interesting to see what comes of this - it sounds like a 75 SAM with lots of merit points in Store TP and Meditate could be extermely formidable.~~~Rune Grey~~~

looks like they made it back to where third eye > hurricane wing, sweeeeeet.
zanshin seems interesting.. i think it'll be level 50, 60, or 75 trait though.. non-subbable.
edit: amfg! i just realized how awesome this would be against tiamat too! his wing move adds plague which devastates tp ._. no more of that nonsense >:D just gotta go after him some more >_>

Hmm, I never even considered the possibility of Doublt Attack and Zanshin triggering together. If that is possible it will definatly be powerful, something tells me though that there will be a tweak to fix that though if it is possible now.Originally posted by RuneGrey

Yes but see Zanshin isn't a true Acc Boost per say. The extra hit after missing still is a normal hit so if you don't have enough Accuracy you will miss the added hit also. So unfortunately we still need the Accuracy from those items.Originally posted by RuneGrey

Need as religiously, no.
It's definatly not a get rid of all acc boost you have, but it is now more here is a chance to add in a little more attack.

Well, it still depends on you missing first. Let's assume It's a flat 10% proc with no modifiers like most all lvl 1 passives. If you miss 30% of your attacks, you get a chance to hit a whopping 3% more, and will probably miss 30% of those too, unless it is a guaranteed hit.
Not sure if it works with ranged attacks, but I doubt it.
That doesn't seem overpowered, or even powerful to me. It's a very small damage boost, sort of like drg's wyvern breath now being able to MB on a SC. I think zanshin is only significant when combinded with a high level of TP store--that way the hit is multiplied in effect, rather than a flat damage increase.
It dosen't really provide double attack with more power, since the ability is sub independent--you get more attacks regardless. Getting a 10% chance on a 10% chance, which only happens if you miss, isn't exactly often.
