I am currently lvl 20 Samurai and I have thw following armor & gear:

Main Hand: Gunrumari - Lvl 20 Great Katana - 33 DMG - 450 Delay
Off Hand: None
Ranged: Power Bow +1
Ammo: 4 stacks of Beetle Arrows, 3 Stacks of Iron Arrows
Head: Sandorian Bandana - DEF - +4 HP +1 AGI
Neck: - Some Necklace - +20 HP, for lvl 21 I have Spike Necklace
Earing 1: Bone Earing +1 - +2 Attack - 1 Evasion, for lvl 21 I have Beetle +1
Earing 2: Bone Earing +1 - +2 Attack - 1 Evasion, for lvl 21 I have Beetle +1
Body: Bone Harness +1 - DEF - +1 Evasion
Hands: Sandorian Glaunlets - +4 HP - +3 Attack
Ring 1: Balance Ring
Ring 2: Balance Ring
Back: Traveler's Mantle - +3 Evasion
Waiste: Warrior's Belt +1
Legs: Bone Subligar +1 - DEF - +1 Evasion
Feet: Leaping Boots

Ok, now I have 1,064,089 gil. I was wondering what I should but in the next levels. I was thinking of doing this (tell if its good idea or not): Buy Emperor Hairpin and 1 Verener then buy all other armor as I would when im leveling (ie Body, legs,hand, head) from 21-43 (not all at once), when I hit 43, sell Emperor Hairpin, Buy Valkrye's Mask, take the defference and put it towards Ochiodos Kote or Hauergeon (which should I put it towards?). Then, once I have enough buy Ochiodo's Kote or whatever Ill buy it. What Im more concerned on is, DEX do I need alot of DEX in the pre lvl 33? Also, at lvl 33 what should I have? Vereners and Balance? Thank you in advanced.

ur first priority should be getting the Federation series at 25 (u have a lot of gil so it shouldn't be a prob). get the haipin, and sell it back to buy Snipers instead of Valkyrie Mask. Ochiudo is not a necessity but, it really helps at early lvls when u can first equip them. Hauby, well, u shouldn't worry about that now.

At lvl 30, with ur gil, u should have
Fed Tekko
Fed Kyahan
Spike Necklace (attained)
Beetle Earring+1 X2 (attained)
Emperor Hairpin
Body doesn't matter till 40 (Jujitsu)
Balance X2 (attained)
Wing boots(if price is same as Leaping)
I went with the Barbarian belt+1 cause Warriors belt stat didn't help me much (ur choice)

Bastokan Subligar is great stat-wise but I would never wear a subligar so its ur choice (+4 attack and some other stat+ effect I think)

with this equip u should have
+3acc, +13DEX, +10 attack, +3STR, +6AGI


At 40, what u want to have is
Jujitsu Gi
Ochiudo Kote (not a neccesity, especially because the price is outrageous right now)
Sniper (u only need 1 till 60ish)
Life belt

Alot of Samurai weaponskills are based very greatly on STR but usually i see SAMs using DEX rings? why is this do people know that STR is greatt for SAM too? or i may just be wrong ; ;:sweat:

Jujitsu = 400,000-500,000 (not sure, might be 700,000)
Winged Boots = 700,000-800,000
Leaping Boots = 700,000-800,000

With those outraeous prices, i would advise that u SELL ur Leaping boots and trade them in for Fed Kyahan to make around 650kprofit. That would put u around 1,700,00gil. With that gil, buy urself a Jujitsu, and snipers at 40. Don't bother with Ochiudo if the price is above 800k. That will last u for awhile probably until the mid-50's. Then sell ur Fed Tekko and Fed Kyahan for around 100k total, and switch them in for the AFs. Hauby price I don't know, but I'm guessing u'll still need a lot of gil even if u sell out ur snipers. U can make little profits by selling ur +1's for normal equips and trading out Nomads for Wolf+1 to make profit

Is the economy this horrible on other servers?

The reason y is that STR doesn't affect the WS much until the last three ones. Tachi:yukikaze, Tachi:Goten, and Tachi:Kasha's are 75% STR modifiers, so a lot of high lvls macro swap +STR gears before they unleash their WS. Until u get those 3 WS's, STR isn't as big as improving +acc and +att. I personally like +STR rings more than +DEX though cause I really didn't see any difference in my hit percentage when I had +4~+6DEX from my rings.

To be honest you can use the Juji gi till your hauby if you wanted. The llv 50 one gives you better def yes but it is in all the same equip.

The Fed Tekko you can wear till ochis if you have them.

To be honest do not WATSE money on leaping and hairpin. most high lvls do not use them And you should get rid of it the first chance you get the Valk mask. Your call tho.

There is this att plus 3 boot that you can wear. the name escapes me at the moment, but I wore those till the lvl 63 tiger boots of which still give plus 3 att... =D

Leaping Boots used to be 300k Snipers where like 300-400k and the +1 was 600K (the plus 1 is about half the normal one now) Emp Pin used to be 400k, Jujitsu GI used to be 100k, dunno about Kote, I wish I could change servers with all my gil and levels and gear :sweat:

So im almost lvl 24, what level is fed tekko? Also, can you re list my gear in what I should have at lvl 30, thank you


EDIT: Also, I should NOT buy the Emp pin? and Sell my leaping boots? LOL what the hell am i gonna do with all this gil O_o?

u will have a lot of gil, but trust me, u'll spend a lot when u hit 40

Should I buy Vereners? Which are 100k - 200k i believe. +3 Acc there Rare so i can only have one. So Ill do a Vereners and STR ring? or DEX?
