Thats the one at the end of the GK list in modelviewer correct? If it is it was prolly added with the CoP expansion. I'm sorry i cant tell you what its called though.

this one was added last expansion and I know the model you have there is a new Great Katana so it must be this one.

We may have not seen it yet also. Messhikimaru is made from a synth of the Kazaridachi. I don't know if it looks different or special in any way though.

It's probably the graphics for a sword not yet implemented; IIRC the Meshikimaru is the same as Kazaridachi.

Yeah your right, this Great Katana hasn't been implimented. I forgot the graphic of Meshikimaru is the same as Kazaridachi.
Well with the new update coming Dec 12 they might finally put it in.

No, that sword was part of the CoP. Go back and look at the photos that one of the admins on this forum posted. They had posted all the new gear and weapons, that GK is among those new weapons.

Yes, and? Just because its file was included in the expansion software doesn't mean that it's available to get in-game yet.

I don't have a link to that but I remember seeing these pics of a Mithra showing off all the new CoP armor and in the bottom right are the weapons that were added. In fact I have that picture with me so here ya go. Most the armor and weapons were intoduced into the FFXI. I'm guessing SE holded on releasing some of the weapons or something.

Not too sure what this GKT looks like...but ParadiseOblivion on Midgardsormr were able to beat one of the uncapped BCNM's, first on any server for the one they did I hear, and a lvl 72 GKT with TP Drain was dropped, among several other items.
