1.) Thanks for the input Lotus, I'll look forward to testing it out once i hit 50 ^^b
2.)Samurai slow? hmm, obviously hasn't dealt with the delay of a scythe, now that's slow >_<
seriously, I've played every job in the game for one period of time or another, and Samurai is a ot of fun, i kinda wish we could take damage a little bit better, just so I don;t spend so much DT while farming  But the Samurai is a really cool and fun job, if you have the patience to get out of the 40's 50-end game I cn see being really fun, witht he WS that become available starting with Jinpuu at 49 (I think). True, you'll never be Kenshin, or that guy from Samurai Deeper, or Smaurai Jack, or even Tom Cruise, but hey, who is? I mean, other than Tom Cruise of course >_<
But ( as my friend told me) you whip out that Tachi: Gekko for the first time or even Kasha, ohh yeah, it's all about the style baby
Damage wise, true in a blow per blow basis there are other jobs that will outdamage you, as logn as their equipment is up to snuff, I was PTing with a MNk tonight who had moderate, not horrible, but not great, equipment and was easily keepign pace and usually outdamaging him
So you'll always have those moments that are just nice ego-strokers.
I'm sure if you stick with it, you'll enjoy it.
