Good setup for level 60 or so SAM

I'm just wondering if this will be a good equipment setup for sam.

GK: ?
Head: Emp Pin or AF helm
Neck: Royal Guards Collar
Earring: Spike Earring x2
Ring: +str or +dex rings
Waist: Life Belt
Hands: Ochiodu's Kote
Feet: AF
Legs: AF
Body: Haubergon
Back: ?

Critique this setup please. I want to be a good sam equip wise, but within reason.

Daihannya is probably the best GK until you level and get a Zanbato or Zanbato +1. That's if you can afford it. If not, the Bastok CP one at level 60 probably works. Lol, this coming from a SAM 5 levels down.

i believe you may have looked through the forum to find that gear setup, but if you did, what the hell is your point in posting? it's obviously good if you found it in another post asking "amg iz thiz g34r ph4tl3wt?!"

I didn't find that gear setup anywhere on this forum. way to jump to conclusions.

I have merely looked through the forums trying to gather some decent information about samurai in general.

you may not have found that *exact* setup anywhere on these forums, but you got the main components off of these, or some other forums, in which the "is this gear good/what gear should i get?!" question is posted every couple of days.


to be serious..

katana: daihannya or gmu
rings: at 60, snipers. unless you static with a bard you can't afford to throw on str gear over accuracy until level 72-ish
legs: royal knight breeches
back: amemit at 61, but you knew that, didn't you? stick with something like nomad's mantle until that.. nothing really worth it until amemit

It's been a good while since I've been a SAM so bear with the info it's a little hazy

GK: ?
Go with the Lv59 (+3 STR) GK if you can camp it or dish out the shinny for it. If not the Lv.60 or 61 GK with work just as good.

Head: Emp Pin or AF helm
Perfect but I'd suggest a valk helm also if you ever get the cash for it.

Neck: Royal Guards Collar
Good. Can't really upgrade this unless you got a few mil for specs

Earring: Spike Earring x2
Corral+1 at Lv63(I think)

Ring: +str or +dex rings
Snipers, if too much +3 dex rings till Lv72 then the +4 str

Waist: Life Belt
Perfect but carry around the Swordbelt(Lv43) if you ever manage to get a good amount of Acc

Hands: Ochiodu's Kote
Good again. I'd suggest buying the Pallas when avalible but always have both

Feet: AF
Leapings if you ever get the cash

Legs: AF
Nothing you can do here, Relic and the God set seem to be the only good replacement

Body: Haubergon
Perfect, all you can really do is upgrade to +1

Back: ?
Amnient Mantle , +1 if possible
