Kamewari

I'm going to try to help a friend get Kamewari, is this too difficult for a PT of 6 level 69-70's? I also know it's a lot with what I assume are other scorps? Any information would be appreciated.

I think Lv70 pt can't do it, Maybe with 12 ppl should be ok.
and beware of Death Scissors because it does 1400damage to Lv71 PLD, Good Luck.

Death Scissors is no joke. My PT was screwing around in West Altepa one day while waiting for a member to arrive. We pulled out our skill-up weapons and went after an EP Tulwar. I got agro during the fight which resulted in xp loss thanks to Sharp Strike + Death Scissors for 788. That was from an EP mind you.

It depends on what lvl is the scorpion, I heard Sword WS Quest
Scorpion is killer and could kill any PLD 70+ with few hits, the stratgey to kill that scopion is to get 3 PLDs and they have to use their 2hr, Once first pld dies other one must taunt and use 2hr lol..

I went after this nm tonight with my linkshell. There were about 12 of us, 70-75, most of them decked out in the hnm gear. It took about 5 minutes to wipe us all out. The area attack does over 800 damage, this guy is a lot harder than serket. blink or third eye will negate the area attack, but the pld said that amikiri was hitting as hard as fafnir would. When it did area attack, basically a third of my group died. The rest of us soon follow considering that third consisted of the mages. I we fought it in the area near where it pops because we had no smn or bst to pull it to the bune spot. After we all died another group was forming to take it. They pulled it to bune spot, we thought they were going to die because they were giving it too much tp, but they had two summers keeping stoneskin up, so they won and I didn't get my katana today :' ( but I will soon enough.
You must build tp on surrounding monsters and only use ws on amikiri, if you just hit it regularly you'll give it too much tp to use special attacks. So my final advice, unless you're in an HNM ls, don't bother.

I finally got this bad boy tonight after lots of work. I must say, this sucker is HARD. About 15 of us tonight I think, but we had a couple tanks in the wrong party when the smn's pulled, so things started out really rough, got it to about 75% hp when people started dying, so we marathoned it while everyone was raised and brought back to full health. Then even after everyone was raised we just kept marathoning it, stopping every once and a while to ws it. I think the fight took about an hour, some people dying several times :sweat: I only died once, but came very close to dying 3 other times, when Amikiri died, I had 20 hp cuz I 2houred and started to ws the crap out of him and he didn't seem to like it. No serket claw dropped, so basically my linkshell got nothing out of this, but I got my katana and I'm incredibly grateful to them all, and most of them vowed to never fight this nm again But goodluck to whoever wants this

Sweet congrats man. Hopefully i'll have help when i near 70 but i'm really not banking on it at all lol.

With the stats it has i'm not gona complain but i kinda wished for how hard it is to get they would have made it look diferent than the AF / Daihannya katanas ;

My sam friend was able to help out another hnm PT we were hunting the wyvern, they were after amikiri. So she was invited for the drop and now has kamewari ^^. We didn't get my sword from bune though ; ;.

I saw the rare / ex level 73 sword tonight. Had no idea it looked like the zanbatto. Kinda glad they made a good version of that sword lol.

Kamewari looks like Daihannya ? (similar to the AF)

Sukesada unique look, with a yellow-golden hilt.

Hrm.... I wish there was a high level with either the blue katana look (posted a good while back) or the Onikiri straight blade :/

the level 67 kaziradachi has the straight blade, if i'm not mistaken..
