Samurai Races

Which race is the best for being a samurai? I would assume it's elvaan, but I may be wrong.

personally I'd say Mithra. I'm a 62 samurai , hume, and I haven't had any problems from race, but I believe in DEX and Accuracy over STR. Also, STR gear is cheaper and somewhat easier to come by on rings in my experience.

Galka would probably be my second choice, then elvaan/hume tied, worst being taru taru.

When you get down to it, for a job like SAM your race really does not matter very much. Just play the race you like. Don't be galka or elvaan if you want to play around with being a mage, unless you want to spent a lot on +MP gear and food in order to just be adequate.

Ideally with everything equal, in the end, its Elvaan first, then Galka, Mithran/Hume, Taru if you're considering damage output.

With no MP growth and no spells, the less mage inclined stats, the better.

Mithran has an edge most of the game since they have better acc, and thus get TP faster untill Elvaan can pick up enough acc+ equips. Unfortunately low str hurts damage output a bit, and low vit makes secondary tanking a little more painful than it should be.

Although there are differences, even taru isn't that bad of a sam.

My damage output is the same as elves and galkas ... strange but true, maybe alittle less but not noticeable

1-Hume (normal att def acc dex etc)
2-Elvaan (high att and about accuracy just get good equipment)
3-Mithra (high acc)
4-Galka (high HP)
5-Taru=(NO DEF NO ATT NO NO....so taru=mage only)
