Planning to be a SAM

I know when I get the game I am going to start off with warrior and end up a SAM/WAR. So once I level WAR to 18 and get the subjob thing what do I do? Switch off to something else level it then switch back? Go to 30 with a level 1 subjob?

Switch to Monk, set your subjob as Warrior.
Level the Monk to 15.
Switch back to Warrior and set your subjob as Monk.
Once at 30, go get the Samurai and set your subjob as Warrior.

You might want to level your sub fully when leveling them (so get your MNK to 18, WAR to 37) first. It sucks having to go back leveling a job when you finally get rolling with your main job. Not to mention having to buy the equipment for that class.

I personally suggest leveling MNK first to 18. It's the perfect amount for your WAR to get to 37, and oddly enough that's when you can unlock subjob. Then level WAR/MNK to 37, then switch to SAM.

Trust me, going back to level is annoying as hell. :mad:

But, right now, when getting into a high 40s party is tough....leveling your subjobs can be a good alternative to waiting hours on end for naught. =)
