  • TP store- your opinions?

    Do you think there is such a thing as tp store II or III? at 50 im still getting 13% tp per swing with my af1, *supposed* to have tp store III at 50, but i dont believe there even is such a thing-

    so in your opinion:

    1) is there such a thing as advanced tp stores?(tp II and III)

    and if so

    2) are they broken? 13% with a supposed "TP store III" seems pretty lame, when ive pretty much always gotten 13%, which is why i assume there is no II or III.

    Needless to say I wouldnt mind seeing tp store increased a bit, its kind of pointless calling something tp store when you barely "store" more tp than an average melee.

    Just a random rant i thought id post while at work, please forgive me hehe. i just wish we "stored" a bit more tp than we do ;; i guess thats what AF armor tp boosts are for, but still >.< increasing tp store would be nice :D

    Not really complaining, well i am, but it doesnt bother me too much. I love being a sam and i have fun pumping out skillchains with meditate, even at 50 you still get people going "Woah, that was a lot of weaponskills last fight :O" which is always fun to hear ^_^ sam are definately fun :thumbsup just wish we got a smidgen more tp

    I believe the standard great katana (450 dly) has a TP return of 10.9 per hit as close as I can figure. Keep in mind these figures only apply to 450dly katanas, and without getting any TP due to taking damage yourself.

    lv 5, 10.9 per hit = 10 hits to reach >100 (109)
    lv10, 11.9 per hit = 9 hits to reach >100 (107)
    lv 30, 12.9 per hit = 8 hits to reach >100 (103)
    lv 50, 13.9 per hit = 8 hits to reach >100 (111)

    The first two traits were noticable in the fact that they required you to land one less hit to have 100% TP, storeTP3 at 50 does not do this. However, at 50 with a warrior sub, double attack might allow you to have 100% a round or two early regardless.

    The real strength in storeTP3 though, Is self renkei.

    With lv 30 trait, a double hit WS would leave you at 25% (25.8). Three ticks of meditate +60% (85.8) and one stray swing would always leave you at 98%Tp (98.7) Pretty much requiring you to get hit by a monster/spell once to self renkei.

    At 50 however, a two hit WS leaves you at 27% (27.8) , three ticks of meditate (87.8) and an extra swing = 101% TP (101.7). Ta da.

    If anyone sees any numbers that don't line up with their own experience, feel free to correct, a good portion of this was assumed.

      Ive come to notice self-renkei with jinpu is ungodly easy at 50, which is the only thing that led me to not write off tp store increases. I just wish it was more of a store, but hey, we all can dream:spin:

      double attack with weaponskills gives me an ton of tp back for sure though, which is what i absolutely love about subbing warrior, almost never fail a self renkei now :D

      maybe someday we'll get a bit more tp from tp store, i can wish at least
