ZI'tah "???"

Kinda got frustrated with this. Tried taking a friend of mine to get the sam quest which ended in uter failure.

Anyone know the EXACT location of the "???" In the santuary? All sites say "western side of map" But i keep hearing stuff like L9-10 which is on the east side.

I dont have actual map myself so any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

i am 99% positive the location is E-8.. you should be able to see the little pond on the map there.. there are couerl and wolves around there.. (wolves depending on time of day, night rather.)

That ??? on the far west side is for the sam AF1 surrounded by the cats and wolves, if you want to kill the tree for the sam flag youll need to head east to L-10 (its off the map) to a bigggg tree, turst me its big and you cant miss it.

L-10 is on the east side of map!

Im not saying its not there but i'd just like to point out that all the Guides (yes the book guide says the same thing also), fanbased FFXI database sites need to update their info then cause obviously its not on the "Western side of Zi'tah".

Thats a very misleading comment and could get more ppl killed searching for something that isn't there. :mad:

Oh well, looks like i'll be going to the east side of Zi'tah to find something thats supposedly on the west side.

I just finished it, now I'm waiting for the 3 hours to pass. :mad: I didn't get <pos> though, sorry. However, it is deffinatly on the EAST side. I have no idea why guides say west, and ofcoarse instead of checking the info, they all decide to steal it and claim it as their own even though it's completely wrong.

Well i finished it.

It was on the EAST of the map.. infact it was off the map, but still on the east side. L-9 to be exact, so yeah basically the brandy guide or whatever and all the ffxi data bases have false information on them.

i was thinking he meant AF1.. both the af1 quest and samurai flag quest are in zi'tah =X

the treant nm spawn point is off the map, yes.

Hello all. Long time reader, first time poster :3

Anyway, about the tree, I also have the guide and was sorely mislead. But if you read it closely, what it actually meant was the WEST side of the TREE. But they didn't really tell you where the tree was did they? At least, I don't think they did. I'm at school right now, so I can't really check my guide which is at home.

So yeah, the Tree is on the EAST side of the map, but the ???? is on the WEST side of the tree.

Hope that clears up anymore confusion ^^v

what it actually meant was the WEST side of the TREE.

thats pretty dumb of them to put that considering the tree is practically in the zone wall and the West side of the tree is the only side facing outward that you can touch.. but oh well
