Hosodachi- awesome

At 37 i spent 45k(yes 45k, ragnarok prices have been insane this month :dead: ) on the hosodachi. All i can say is WOW. any sam who has the cash for one, definately pick it up. it blows the homura out of the water. the lower delay is a great help in crawlers nest, until 42 for our AF. im doing great damage output, nice and fast. its nice not to swing like tar with that darn homura

Thats about it, wasnt sure how to spend my first post here but i thought id let other new sam's such as myself know that the hosodachi is DEFINATELY the way to go for level 37-42

If you know where to get one w/o buying it, definately do it, it can be pricy on the AH. But not sam's i asked on my server knew where it came from(crafted or what).

The Hosodachi goes for 30k on Valefor, very nice weapon...at 37 it made me feel like I was actually a "damage dealer" in the party again. With it's 51 damage and 428 delay, it beats out the lv34 DRG lance (though only in speed). Things change quickly though, when the DRG get their second lance and the DRK get their lv40 scythe, but it's still a fine weapon. I just wish the AF1 great katana was as fast as the Hosodachi, my timing is all off now. =)

but the hosodachi is great... last night i was outdamaging the drk in my group, i felt like a damage dealer for once, if only for a few levels :spin:

Yups

Yup yup it is a great weapon. It's the only reason I haven't jumped and go straight for AF1. Mainly because I'm still doing awesome damage at Lv.49 with it. But I think I'm going to do AF1 just for the sake of doing it and so I can continue on with the other AFs. And I bought it at 28K on Siren. The price is now 35K as of last week. Take care!

I bought a hosodachi wayyy back in January for 11,000G.

The price is now up to 45,000G lmao... Wish I hadn't sold it for 19k in February >_<

Hosodachi is the coolest looking Gkatana alongside with the AF1.

i agree, it looks awesome thats why i was happy when i bought my kiku-ichimonji yesterday i found out that it looked exactly like the hosodachi, its nice to be sporting that style again

I know how ppl feel. I wish i had used it sooner when it was cheaper on Midgardsormr (30-40k last week). I stuck with the lvl 23 gkt until AF1 (currently i'm lvl 56). But I started doing BCNM40 and the lvl 23 gkt wasn't cutting it (no pun intended). So I brought this one (after about 30 minutes of ponderring between other gkt lvl 30-40). Man, BCNM battles were a lot easier/smoother after that.
