Just tried FA3 BC battle... pardon me, but WTFH WAS THAT?!

-_- get in, Gaki bursts out few ancient magic, etc, etc. next thing I know, 1 pld and blm are dead...run back and escape out of the BC with 100 hp left. I'm just hoping I get all the bad things to happen at once. And now the pt that helped doesn't want to help again, and I can't blame them:mad:

Ryosei, try waiting til after 0:00 JST (japan time).

bbcradical_ed, a pt of everyone being 60+ is recommended. I recommend pld being 65+, blm 60+, rdm and/or brd 60+, whm 60+, another melee 60+, and the sam being 60+. If you can get a pld, a blm, and/or a melee that's 66-70+, only then can you skimp on the levels of the other jobs. But, as a hard rule, having a pld 65+, another melee being 60+, and a blm 60+ are requirements.

This is just my opinion. YMMV.

Old times.. old times indeed, heh. Hero 'tanked' w.. We just silenced and busted up the blm first, smn was last~

Skill > this crap -.- just go in with a positive attitude and silence and kill the BLM first (believe he's on the right, 'Gaki' or whatever) or you'll most likely lose. Good luck on your next trip ^^ but don't worry too much, the helm's only used in macros anyways -_-

I just wanted to be full AF

Well, finally beat this and got ccharred helmet, now waiting 20.5 hours... (wtf were you thinking Square?!)

Went in with following PT:
75sam/nin
60sam/thf
74pld/war
74blm/whm
60whm/smn
63rng/nin

Well...Pld got anihilated not even 1 minute into the battle.

We enter, Buff up, run in, target Gaki. 75sam does his Light SC and Gaki is almost dead. But while we ran in, all 3 targeted the PLD and Burst and Fire III i believe got his to near 100hp, with a hit he was at 25hp... next hit he died:sweat:

We finish off Gaki and start on the SMN. We kill him when I use my 2hr and some regular hits. I then see that our rng is taking on the Onibi:sweat: Well he beat it (dunno why he went after it..) and start on the DRK. Since nobody is subbed war, the 75sam and I trade off hate between him, but he targets the BLM once or twice. We burst out any WS we can get and the RNG finishes him off with a Sidewinder.

I will still use my Valk mask when fighting, but come on, you know we look cool in full AF

just switch your meditate macro to swap your helms for that 120 (sometimes 140..) tp ^^ and grats

What pt make up would you recomend for the lvl 52 AF boots?
so far I know i can have a lvl 53/54 MNK, 51 BLM and a 50 thief, 52 war/mnk, maybe a 62 rdm and 69 blm( if the last 2 can be on at the same time)
As I hate to ask ppl for help as any one that can seemly help me on this is/are too busy or does not want to re do a AF run

Quick question, can you do SAM AF1 without the mumeito? Or can you get it back again?...

I threw mine out figuring I would never play SAM again... wrong! Is there a way to get a new one, or, is AF1 even worth it, or do you never use it?

Yes you need it but don't worry. After getting the quest, I forget who to talk to, but someone will sell you one for a very high price. I forgot how much though ; ;

And if it is worth getting, well you need to do the quest anyway to get AF2 quest. I used it up till Lv54 and got that Great Katana. There are better hitting Katanas after you get it but they usually go for 100k+. Lv54 one was like 30k when I got it.

Mumeito goes for 30 K in Norg. Go and get it, it is it worth.

Beat the 3 demons last night for the Myochin Kabuto and beat the old record at 3 min 45 seconds.

It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. We went in with:

60 sam/war
70 nin/war
64 blm/whm
65 whm/smn
59 mnk/war
65 rdm/whm

Meditated prior to going in and waited for meditate to recharge. Went in and did tachi: yukikaze -> meikyo shisui -> tachi koki [Fragmentation] -> yukikaze -> koki [Fragmentation]. Monk also 2hr-ed. Killed Gaki pretty quickly and moved onto Rasetsu and murdered him with weaponskills.

Onki did a carbuncle astral flow for 800 dam to all but whm did Benediction and we renkei'ed Onki into submission.

Everything blew by so quickly that we didnt have time for stuns and sleep

Like others have said, just follow the order and you'll be fine. Good luck!

Heard much about it and I think killing Onki first will be the best way, maybe Gaki > Onki > Rasetsu but Onki last could be deadly. A heavy Astral Flow and you will be in trouble.

Trying to get the lvl 1 Gkat back but can't. Do I have to be on SAM AF1 in order to get it back?
