Demon Hunter?

I have heard Red Mages bragging about their ability to kill the Demon King (I believe that is the MOB's name. If I am wrong, please correct me.) My question then is how viable or useful are Samurai's Demon Hunting abilities? Towards the endgame, is it a necessary component for hunting the evil ones, or can any rdm with a game faq surpass the innate hunting skills of the bushido warrior?

That depends on how tough the Demon King is and how well equipped the Samurai is.

One thing to keep in mind is that demons aren't exactly level 75 targets. A group can hunt the ones outside Castle Zvahl in the low 40's, and you can start hunting eyes (which also count as demons) in Beaucadine and Ranguemont even earlier. I'm not sure what level the monsters inside Zvahl are, but given the surrounding areas, it wouldn't surprise me if the vast majority of them could be soloed at 75 by any class.
