Armor Hesitation

Okay, so now I'm near the point where I have to ask what armor i want. I was safe up until level 30, since I had kept all the equipment from my Warrior for my Samurai, however now I have no idea for what I should wear for my next set. Though I may be able to hold off twenty levels and get the Hara-Ate set, that wouuldn't get me into too many parties if I was level 45 with Centurion equipment. Question - what did most Samurais here use? Silver/Steam Scale Mail? Because those look exactly like Chain/Scale mail and I'm not keen on wearing them AGAIN.

Edit: Juijitsu Gi is at 40 and the sitabaki are lv38. No? What it comes down to is, if you end up having to tank (I've been main tank 90% of the time since starting the job...BOOOOOO!!!!) you'll need that extra armor. If you can get in groups as a DD, you can hold off updating your gear....but I recomend the Gi (+4 ACC).

BTW, is the Juijitsu Gi a mob-dropped-item? Just wondering if there were another way of obtaining it other than buying it out of the AH?
