Knowing that, and given that items work with the same "casting bar" process, I can see why Spider-Dan had to ask to be sure.

Yeah, but a warp cudgel is an item. I've never seen anyone fire off a warp cudgel in 0.5 seconds. Trust me, fast cast and chainspell doesn't work on item usage.

/ma "Utsusemi: Ichi" <me> and /ma "Mage's Ballad" <me> work. I'm pretty sure /ma "Warp Cudgel" <me> doesn't.

Spells are not entirely elemental based. Spells are basically what is on the menu under Spells. Which includes:

Blue Magic
Black Magic
White Magic
Ninjutsu
Songs
Summoning Magic

and god knows what else. I don't have 100% of all jobs unlocked on both of my characters, so I can't elaborate on this fully. Anywho, just open up your own menu (The main one) and you can go find this yourself.
