Food+Drink+Medicine+?

Its time to ponder the strategy against the old Maat. Being an Elvaan have its advantages (good str = solo easier and better melee damage, better defense = can take 2-3 hits during xp without stoneskin) but also have its disadvantages (low mp and int).

Too bad, the fight against Maat for rdm ususally required sleeping and nuking him, and thus mp and int are wat count .

I search Mysterytour and come up with this - Intelligent Potion (increase int by 10%-50% for 5 mins ) which is very much desirable for the fight. I have yet to check if it is indeed available yet . So many of u would say, hey, wat are ur questions then

I understand that u can have food effect + drink effect at the same time during fight, and I also conceive that u can still have medicine with these 2 effects on (but am I correct? I dont want to waste one testimony and beat by Maat for verifying that!).

So lets say, I have rolanberry pie +1 (food) and Yagudo Drink (drink) on now:

(a) can I take the Intelligent Potion (medicine)?

(b) can I take the Mulsum (drink) (which gives 10mp almost instantly)?

Now, suppose its yes, the effect of Int Potion would last 5 mins, due to low mp of Elvaan,

(c) I would need the vile elixir (medicine), can I take vile elixir (or vile elixir + 1) with food, drink and int potion's effect still on?

U c, its alot of pondering and calculation involved, and I m really getting nervous as well

Yes, you can use ANY forms of medicine, whether it be an Ether, Intelligent Potion, or Vitriol. You can use Rolanberry Pie+1, Yagudo Drink, and Intelligent Potion all together.

I'm not sure about the Mulsum, however. If it's a drink type, you'll have to cancel Yagudo Drinke effect before you can use it to take effect.

You won't need Vile Elixer(+1) or Ethers, etc at all. Time your Convert wisely, and you'll be fine.

If you get too worked up over Maat, you'll just panic when fighting him...I found things either go your way (hence all the "Maat is teh EZ!" posts) or they don't, even with the best of efforts. I used a pie when I won...that was all. I had other runs where I got Sleep/SleepII resisted back to back, and actually won with lesser gear than some runs (where I had borrowed better stuff than I owned personally).

Figure on fighting him more than once, try the fight out and see how it goes. Definitely don't spend a wad of cash on items if you haven't even tried it yet, you'll have a better idea where you may be lacking with some experience. If MP is a huge issue, wait until 70 and get your RSE rope.
